We believe in bridging
the gap.
The Comfort Family Foundation identifies and helps to bridge gaps between resources and community members in need, seeking to inspire partnerships and to connect historically disparate communities. Focused on education, mentoring, and the arts as a means of bettering the lives of those in need, the Foundation also promotes public health and safety initiatives.
We're focused on making an impact.

education
The Foundation is grounded in the principle that education is the gateway to opportunity. Knowledge, coupled with creative and critical thinking, are skills that can solve our most daunting challenges. We seek to empower individuals, through education, to shape and seize opportunities to achieve their personal goals while contributing to an ethical, inclusive and collaborative society. In so doing, we will support our partners in strengthening their own communities and ultimately the broader society.

mentorship
CFF believes that mentorship opportunities provide incalculable value for underserved communities. Offering youth positive role models and safe non-parental sources of guidance, along with support and encouragement, will foster increased sense of self-worth, self-confidence, and practical life skills.

arts
The foundation seeks to broaden the creative intellectual power directed at solving our communities’ most challenging problems. Towards that end, we will harness the power of arts education and participation in the arts to help span diverse communities and expose people to new creative outlets.
Our Core Values.
- Access to quality education, housing, and safety should be easily available regardless of economic status.
- Arts education and exposure is invaluable for its ability to inspire creativity, allow emotional expression, tell stories, and convey collective values.
- Good citizenship and a belief in shared responsibility for community advancement is essential to progress. This should be developed through civics education, leadership training and volunteerism among youth.
Next in importance to freedom and justice is popular education, without which neither freedom nor justice can be permanently maintained.
